ROLE DEFINITION
PADI Open Water Diver Course is the way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. This course you will learn how to use scuba diving equipment to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater.

LIMITATIONS
The certification depth limit approved for the PADI Open Water Diver is 18 msw (60 fsw).

COURSE OVERVIEW
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
1. Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
2. Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
3. Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.

ENRICHED AIR NITROX SPECIALTY

ROLE DEFINITION
Enriched Air Nitrox course is for those that enjoy staying at depth longer without having to worry about long decompression stops and surface interval times.

LIMITATION
The certification depth limit approved for the Enriched Air Nitrox course is 40 msw (130 fsw).

OPTIONAL
– Extra Dive with EANitrox 600 THB

COURSE OVERVIEW
Enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx contains less nitrogen than regular air meaning that divers can stay at depth longer with reduced decompression requirements and lower the risk of decompression sickness. This is why Enriched air is one of the most popular specialties among our dive courses. The course consists of

-The benefits of diving on Enriched Air
-Techniques for getting more dives time
-The recommendations for using equipment with enriched air
-Air filling procedures, cylinder markings & analyzing
-Planning Enriched Air dives using a dive computer
-Oxygen partial pressures, maximum and contingency depth limits and hazards of exceeding these
-Signs and symptoms of oxygen toxicity
