ROLE DEFINITION
PADI Open Water Diver Course is the way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. This course you will learn how to use scuba diving equipment to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater.

LIMITATIONS
The certification depth limit approved for the PADI Open Water Diver is 18 msw (60 fsw).

COURSE OVERVIEW
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

1. Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving
2.Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
3.Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. The equipment you wear varies, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.

ROLE DEFINITION
Advance Open Water Diver Course is about advancing your skills. You will practice navigation and buoyancy, deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing and you will get specialty certifications from PADI.

The certification depth limit approved for the PADI Open Water Diver is 40 msw (130 fsw).

– Open Water License and at least 4 dives
